Morning Prayer #5

Psalms 121:8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

God has assured us time and time again that He will be with us. God’s protection for us is so deep that, even when we die on this earth, we are not lost to the power of death. Our life continues in heaven until Christ returns to give us our mortal bodies. God is always faithful.

Dear God, I thank you that I am fully covered by you. I have nothing to fear – not even death because I know that it will never have the final say. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
