1 John 1:7 kjv But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
It is difficult, even impossible, to achieve the perfection that Jesus did on earth. It is a struggle every day to live by His commandments. But we are not alone! God’s church provides us with fellowship. We lean on each other and learn from each other, and we sing of praise to the Heavenly Father together. In this way, we can grow closer to God than we can by ourselves, and we can live a more Christ like life.
Oh Heavenly Savior, I thank you for Your church. Together, we sing a song of glory to You, and Your name is exalted. May I walk with those who love Your name and grow in You. I pray that I may learn from my fellows and that they may learn from me, I pray for an eternal bond with my brothers and sisters in Your church, and I thank you for Your Kingdom that is Your Kingdom that is our inheritance. In Christ’s name, Amen.
